In each Area the qualifiers for the Final Congress will be:
      (1) The team with most game points (ties split on matches). This team is Area Champion.
      (2) The team with most match points (ties split on games).
Dead-heats for either place will be resolved as directed by the League Organiser. One place only, if the same team qualifies on both counts. Further places may be offered at the Organiser’s discretion.

The final date for Area matches is the end of February.
